About Me

Kaila Murray is a writer, former martial artist and researcher, currently working on her debut historical fantasy novel, Heretic. A lifelong secret typer and scribbler, Kaila wrote the first draft, aged 16, frustrated by the then lack of relatable female voices in fantasy (with a few exceptions). Nearly two decades later, she's dusting off the manuscript for another go.
